About Noonfall
Noonfall lets you watch — and hear — every solar eclipse. It counts down to the next eclipse on Earth and the next one visible from your own sky, simulates the discs of Sun and Moon in real time, replays any eclipse from two centuries, and turns the fading light into a slow drone you can listen to as the sky darkens.
It belongs to the Harmonic Waves family: Lunata is the Moon, shumann.app is the Earth, Noonfall is the Sun — and an eclipse is the moment all three align.
Private by design
Every calculation runs in your browser. There is no server, no database, no account, no tracking — your location never leaves your device. Once loaded, Noonfall works offline.
How it computes
All positions and timings come from Astronomy Engine, an open-source ephemeris accurate to about one arcminute, evaluated live for your exact coordinates. The 1900–2100 catalogue of 454 eclipses is generated from the same engine — nothing is hand-entered.
